1) A bizarre video was released on YouTube by the UK Imperial War Museum, analyzing the Ukraine conflict as if it was long over and using every hackneyed, uncorroborated and sensational claim about Russian military performance. There's many issues with the truth. I'll explore. 2) Samir Puri at 1:41 claims the T-72 has "increasing vulnerability in the face of much more modern weapons systems" and pontificates about Javelin/NLAW top-attack capability. In reality, these weapons have been of marginal use for the ZSU.

1) Since February, sensational, uncorroborated claims in Anglosphere media has produced dramatic feelings about a region most were unaware there was a preexisting conflict. This also created opportunities for fraud. I present you convicted rapist Kurt Christopher Ahlers of Ohio. 2) Early in 2022, a series of reports from WTOL, a CBS affiliate in Toledo, Ohio, commenced on an elusive “KC”. They claimed he was going to Ukraine on some sort of hybrid filibuster military campaign and humanitarian mission.

1) On 21 November, CNN's Sam Kiley created a primitive, poorly constructed report entitled "Video Shows Ukrainian Forces Entering Russian Command Center", without rigorous (or any?) corroboration of claims. Let's explore some problems with it. 2) Former minor UK Conservative Party politician Harry Rowe, going by "Macer Gifford", did not serve in his own nation's forces and has no reckonable military training, serving as an untrained YPG combatant in Syria. He is interviewed by Sam Kiley.

1) Let's take a glimpse at retired USMC Colonel and former MARSOC senior officer Andrew Milburn, a Hong Kong-born Brit (whose mother was American) who has been in Ukraine as an illegal combatant with allegedly a few dozen international veterans in his private "Mozart Group". 2) Andrew Reginald James Milburn joined the USMC in 1987 a - rare USMC Private as basically a Brit with a law degree aged 24. By 1991 he was an officer, and deployed to Somalia in 1992 in the abortive UN mission, the start of several deployments. Remains very physically fit.

1) Mari Saito of Reuters claims to have a "slam dunk" of what are inferred to be sensitive documents in Balakliya in the Kharkov region near Izyum, where RF and LNR forces withdrew from weeks ago. There are several problems with this contention. 2) She shows a rough outline of the CoC. Nothing exotic or super secret here - and interesting that a UK outlet uses the terminology "section" for commanders heading battalion-size commands. A "section" in UK mil parlance is just about 8 men, headed by a Corporal/Lance Corporal.

1) I was shown two bizarre articles from Canada's Globe and Mail today. Both express very strong views and draw sensational inferences about Russia, the Ukraine conflict and nuclear weapons, but are almost bereft of any specific sourcing or empirical data. 2) The first is by an individual who is a professor at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and is also described as a journalist. He appears to be primarily plugging his book project. Image

1) Sky News Alex Crawford just released an utterly appallingly researched, corroborated and presented segment - "Ukrainian army units defiant over nuclear threats from Russia". There are many false, erroneous and misleading elements. 2) She claims from around :20 that ZSU forces were successfully ambushing and trapping Russian forces, but a civilian Mercedes van is shown along other destroyed civilian vehicles and a ZSU KrAZ-6322/5233, which RF forces do not use.

1) Passionate Ukromania in the Anglosphere practiced by personalities with no prior knowledge of Ukraine or Russia is exceptionally persistent. Even when debunked by Ukrainian citizens and politicians themselves, it becomes imprinted into the consciousness of many. 2) MacLeod is active in the Gaelic ethnic/linguistic community of Canada, Ireland and western Scotland. Given historic persecution by London, outsiders may expect such a community to lean towards cynicism UK/Anglo claims, narratives and aspirations.

(1) For the mainly Anglosphere people who display the Ukrainian flag on social media (the colours of which they learned in late February, and sometimes the right way up by early March), you aren't honestly supporting peace. (2) If you heard of Zelensky the first time in February; can't read any of the relevant languages; accept without any verification sensational claims; can't identify ZSU, Dobrovaty, RF, DNR or LNR forces & agree your country should send money & arms, you aren't supporting peace.

LET'S FACT-CHECK: Dagestan was not a sovereign state invaded by Russia, it was invaded by al-Qaeda led Jihadis under Ibn al-Khattab in 1999, & RF defeated them. Chechnya was de jure part of RF. Georgia was defeated after a clear casus belli when Saakashvili attacked Tskhinvali. Interesting how the same guy who claims to have so many tears for Chechnya is quick to criticize an RF serviceman's load configuration while highlighting his Chechen ethnicity. Would he do this for non-WASP US military personnel who may have erred in the wearing of issued kit?
