If "sex" is a legally "ambiguous" word, then all laws against "sex discrimination" are also ambiguous. Companies can say they didn't know the internal "gender identity" of the woman they failed to promote, so they did not engage in discrimination. But even more chilling, if the definition of "female" legally means "identifies with stereotypes associated with females" that means that women calling themselves women are "identifying" as subordinate. They are declaring their full agreement that they have "lady brains."
