I ❤ Star Trek, every incarnation of it. Period. Don't try to read any negativity in my tweets - it's simply not there. #StarTrekPicard Research Assistant

This is how I interpret the 765874 - Unification film by @OTOY / @Archive_X_IO - a thread:
At some point in the 25th century, Kirk's body ⬆️, stored at Daystrom Station (#StarTrekPicard's "The Bounty"➡️), is revived/cloned ↘️ after his death in "Star Trek: Generations"↙️. 1/5 Image In a park, revived Kirk meets descendants of people he has a connection with. He also meets an old Saavik and Sorak ↘️, the son she had with Spock after they had pon-farr on Genesis in "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock"↗️. 2/5 Image

I have always been most fascinated by the alien-of-the-week ships on #StarTrek and Jaheel's ship from #StarTrekDS9's "Babel" is certainly one of them. It appears only in this one '93 episode and was never re-used, yet its story is fascinating! Now the model is up for auction! 1/9 Image In the early 2000s, I found out that Jaheel's ship originally was a Ranger III/Katarian ship from from the TV show "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century". You can clearly see the similarities. It seems that model was modified and re-used on #DS9 or a copy of the model existed. 2/9

The UFP banner, as it first appeared in 1968 in #StarTrekTOS' "And the Children Shall Lead"➡️, was re-used as it is (yellow UFP, slightly curved) only once, 55 years later, in #StarTrekPicard's "The Bounty"⬅️ in 2023. Let's look at the other versions of this emblem, shall we? 1/9

In 1975, the Star Fleet Technical Manual by Franz Joseph introduced an angular, slightly slimmer version of this emblem. It also introduced that the letters "UFP" and the 13 stars are supposed to be uniformly silver (and not yellow and white respectively) on a red background. 2/9 Image

For reasons, here's the 101 on Bajoran nose wrinkles. 😅
In "Ensign Ro"↖️↗️ and very early #StarTrekDS9 episodes↙️↘️, the Bajoran make-up was still a little more complicated and featured additional brow ridges. Keeve Falor, the Bajoran girl, Tahna Los and Zayna all have them. None of the later #StarTrekDS9 (Vedek Winn ↖️, Shakaar ↗️) and #StarTrekVOY (Gerron ↙️, Tal Celes ↘️) Bajorans have these brow ridges, however. The make-up was simplified very early on DS9, maybe to speed up the make-up application with so many Bajoran extras.

1/7 I found something cool a few days ago that cheered me up so I'm posting this now, you can never have enough cheering up, right? :-)
In "The battle", Picard's quarters are seen for the first time. In one of the shelves, you can see several books, including a 6-volume set of... Image 2/7 ...brown books with a red rectangle on the spine on which the name of the book is written in golden letters. I haven't been able to identify the books yet, but they are no longer seen in Picard's quarters in "Angel One" or "Where silence has lease".
