1/7 We’ve been focusing on proactive initiatives to make Twitter healthier and keep people safe. A more holistic approach allows us to better address potential rule violations and coordinated attacks before we receive reports. Learn more👇
2/7 Our first goal is to improve our proactive detection of abuse to not rely exclusively on reports — we’re now at 38% for abuse and this is just the start…

Different mental time zones lend themselves to different types of thought -- the main determinant of a mental time zone is communication.

Spent some time learning how to use @SlackHQ -- went down some documentation rabbit holes. Here are the 10 most useful things I learned:
1. First - change your mindset: Slack looks like a chat client but it's so much more. Don't think of it as messaging or it will drive you crazy (this is a big risk given the sheer volume and velocity); use it asynch.
