It takes a real galaxy brain to look around a world where a new cause of death is killing hundreds of thousands of people and say “Hmm we’re overreacting” in one of the few countries containing it. It takes an even more refined galaxy brain to argue that an economy would keep powering on if we just let it. Once infections pile up and hospitals overflow, people will keep themselves home and economies will tank regardless of policy. Mass death is expensive too.

So after discussions about the Murdoch press demonising Muslims, they make it a few days before sending the trolls after Osman Faruqi.

Oz is a good person trying to do good, and being punished for it because of who he is. It's blatantly fucked racism and it just keeps coming. Anyone who cites "anti-white racism" in a majority white country is either twisting reality to claim victimhood in a totally cynical sham, or has been duped by the same.

Those citing it are mostly supremacists – or columnists at major newspapers.

Imagine trying to pretend that you’re deeply moved by Advance Australia Fair, objectively among the Worst 10 national anthems worldwide. Imagine proposing that patriotic passion should be inspired by a limping dirge of a song, instituted in the culture vacuum of Australia’s 1980s, voted in by about 20 people who sent in a card off the back of a Weet-Bix box or some shit.
