If you break any part of this down, it’s silly. The rubber parts of the costume being so obvious in 4k. The self serious score. The literal *robot walk* at the start

another strange dream

it’s a much faster paced game, and has some light rpg elements with enemies have levels, but the banter is great and the occupied paris 1980 setting is rad

if I could reboot a nightmare on elm street I’d do something pretty controversial: focus it on freddy krueger and flip the narrative
I’d devote at least a half hour to the events leading up to his murder, revealing to be an absolute asshole townie - who is innocent

🧵 He’d absolutely be a bad person; vindictive, violent, and a general asshole, but an easy patsy for the child murders that have plagued the town

this would make his revenge more focused, and allow us to *enjoy* the bugs bunny aspects that became synonymous with the character
