Still trying to find a local Ann Arbor horse groomer. Not because I have a horse, but because I need shavings of Horse Chestnut—a harmless overgrowth on a horse’s leg that smells like Tonquin deer musk when tinctured. Need it for an upcoming Smell & Tell. leparfumeurrebelle.blogspot.com/2011/02/reprin… I’ve smelled true Tonkin Musk against tincture of Horse Chestnut (not the plant, overgrowth on a horse’s leg that is removed by groomers). They smell alike. Should be run through a GC Mass Spec. Would like to know where the chemical similarity begins and ends between these two.
