For refusing the Covid Pass, my family was banished from society for 5 months.

Finally, our country, Lithuania, suspended the Pass...for now.

Here's a look at life under the segregation of the Pass. And why it'll soon be permanent in all Europe unless we ban it now forever.

1/ LIFE UNDER SEGREGATION:

In September 2021, Lithuania mandated a Covid Pass for all aspects of society.

It's called the “Opportunity Pass".

With it, you're allowed the opportunity to participate in society.

Without it, you have no opportunity: you're banished.

Here's the authoritarian future inevitably facing all countries which impose a Covid Pass regime:

1/ BANISHMENT:

Lithuania is Europe's strictest Covid Pass regime. It's week 8. There's no end planned. And it's getting stricter.

With no Pass, my wife and I may only enter small shops which mainly sell food, pharma, optics, or farm/pet goods.

We're banned everywhere else.

In just 6 weeks, the Covid Pass has transformed my country into a regime of control and segregation.

This is the new society created in Lithuania, the nation furthest along the path to the authoritarianism inevitably facing all countries which impose a Covid Pass regime:

1/ The Covid Pass in Lithuania is called the "Opportunity Pass".

The Opportunity Pass allows you the opportunity to participate in society.

Without the Opportunity Pass, you don't have opportunity: your rights are restricted.

With no Covid Pass, my wife and I are banished from society.

We have no income.Banned from most shopping.Can barely exist.

But we will not accept authoritarianism.

Here's how life looks after one month in Lithuania,under Europe's first strict,society-wide Covid Pass regime:
1/ My wife and I have been suspended without pay for 4 weeks.

We can't return to our jobs.

Not sure our employers would let us back.

Even if they did, our colleagues despise us, wish on social media for our death. Nothing we can do will ever erase that. We can't work there.

My country of Lithuania has imposed very severe measures against people who do not have a Covid Pass.

How severe?

• You're banned from large supermarkets.
• Banned from non-essential stores.
• Banned from restaurants.

And a lot more.
