Election speculation thread. While you can usually set your watch around August rumours of a cabinet shuffle, why election spec now? I know time passed differently during the panedemic but didn't we just <checks dates> have an election? Some thoughts:
The PM is travelling right now. Yes, it's summer. That's usually what they do. Spoiler alert: there will be a summer caucus meetings as well.

"In one text, Wall suggested that the convoy declare “a victory of sorts” after some provinces began to ease COVID-19 measures.
“I think the convoy is creating some elbow room for provinces to begin to move away from mandates etc.,” he texted on February 2."

Dear god. This #cbcpnp panelist has Pierre Trudeau using the Emergencies Act in 1988… four years(!) after he left office and the year it was actually introduced and it’s never been used.
