Former Conservative MP for Pennineshire and HM treasury. Proudly rightwinger and Brexiteer. I have now retired. Posts and RTs are parody/satirical.

After much reflection, it's time to bid farewell. The seemingly interminable election cycle is finally over. I depart this platform having observed a political party’s almost unbelievable decline—one that deceived the electorate, eroded political standards, and gaslit a nation for 14 years.
How emphatically they destroyed themselves will be studied for years. Many of us however, predicted their downfall with alarming accuracy. Arrogance and self-indulgence blinded the party to the point they no longer recognised who they were or who they served. And when a campaign was required, the cabinet no longer knew what they stood for. They scampered for votes, coming across as unauthentic, incompetent, dishonest and most brutal of all for them, not conservative. While their donors and the public deserted them.

2010: Austerity
Chancellor George Osborne was forced to begin austerity and announced the UK deficit would be eliminated by 2015.
I mildly sympathise with plebs who have lost their jobs due to Brexit and other political choices the Tories were forced into making over the last 14 years by labour 😤
Tory MPs however, are compassionate people who have offered sound advice on numerous occasions to poverty stricken individuals
I have compiled a useful thread containing various tips offered by Tory MPs who have taken time out of their very busy schedules for the benefit of the nation 🇬🇧
