Thanks to the Emergencies Act inquiry, we learn that at the same time Amanda Galbraith was praising the Ottawa Police as a pundit on @NEWSTALK1010, she was personally carrying out $30,000 worth of comms work on their behalf: The logo for Newstalk 1010's Moore in the Morning with John The same thing with a segment from the following week: JohnA line item from Navigator's invoice to the Ottawa Police, sAnother line item showing another 8 hours of work by Galbrai "I think…the slow, methodical action by the police is a good one to me," she told listeners, after accruing 73.5 billable hours at about $400/hour.

BuzzFeed is shutting down HuffPost Canada and HuffPost Québec, just two weeks after they filed for union certification. Their last day is expected to be Monday, and while no details have yet been announced, it's believed that job losses may be total. They had 23 employees, plus managers, as of late February.

Just out: Postmedia's five highest-paid executives got $6.46 million in total compensation for fiscal 2020 (including $2.59 million in bonuses).
