it's this, and it's that they all have such obvious contempt for responsible business management. the reason they're all constantly trying to emulate startups is because saying that you're a startup excuses you from boring shit like "have a functioning HR department" i feel like we've way overcorrected on hating MBAs because at least some of those people actually do know how to run responsible businesses, they aren't usually trying to convince you that they're ultra brilliant rock star programmers

one reason street response is underutilized because it’s confusing as fuck to figure out how you’re supposed to call them (you have to request them by name through 911) also, callers don’t usually know whether they need street response or the police or paramedics, we are talking about people who are seriously ill or delusional a lot of the time

i don’t think this ends up being true, or, not true enough to really threaten his chances, because if it were, his rivals in the primary would attack him on it. no one with a chance (e.g. desantis) is going to do so. i will be happy to turn out wrong on this, but i don’t think i am. trump being a criminal is baked into the primary campaign. these people know who they’re voting for and why.
