I'm tired of how we only speak softly about most of the predators in publishing. And done with 2+ decades of people saying it's just the field, or the culture, or it isnt worth trying to correct any of this - it's just how things work. ->
It's always worth trying to fix what's broken.
And the last few days have strongly reminded me how few consequences sexual predators and generally shitty people in publishing circles ever face. Sure, this started up this time with talking about Neil Gaiman. ->

If you write, you're a writer. No other criteria required.
To which I'll add: success as a writer both is and is not reliant on the daily (or whatever) grind. But only where persistance is concerned - not ignoring your body's requirements or treating disabilities like they're not real. (Because, also, fuck Guyot's ableist bullshit.)
