Lets talk abt "glorification" of birth based varnavyavastha. Have you heard abt untouchable brahmins of eastern UP, bihar? These brahmins are/were considered untouchables even by the "classified" low caste and dalits. 1/n
Forget urban areas these brahmins arent even allowed to live in villages & they usually settle outiside of a village.
They come only if there is a death, to perform last rites & eat bhoj..they are considered such a bad omen that when they go back ppl hit them with pebbles 2/n

Something that i observed last year..when agitation was going on in tuticorin. Not only its a nexus of judicial activism and foreign funding of NGOs...there is missionary angle too.
NGO activism brings down India growth rate by 2-3% causing loss of $60 billion annually(equal to France defence budget)
Such activism also leads to change in demography of the region..industries bring jobs, thus industries & infrastructure development r counters for conversion

An utter lie. Mountbatten made no such offer at Patel's behest. The meeting in question that took place on 1st nov 1947 was attended by Liaqat ali khan, lord Ismay (chief of staff to mountbatten) & lord Mountbatten.
No other person's account is authentic.

lord mountbatten showed Liaquat a draft of the formula which was to be presented to jinnah for his approval, Liaquat was depressed seeing the formula
