*drum roll* The results of my Black Pudding Great Taste Test are now in! A HUGE thank you to all the suppliers and makers who contributed, and although I don't believe in prizes for all, they were all darn good, so what follows is essentially a fight amongst the elite. First up is @waitrose. Somewhat flimsy and very bready, it falls apart under the grill. It feels a bit soft and insubstantial. Needs more pepper, some chunks of fat, and more pearl barley. Really quite oily. Perfectly fine, but it’s more a tasteful than tasty black pudding. 5/10
