New report - The Hamas Network in America: a Short History by our director Lorenzo Vidino

The report, based on internal Hamas documents and FBI wiretaps introduced as evidence in criminal cases, shows the existence of a nationwide Hamas network engaged in fundraising, lobbying, education and propaganda dissemination dating back to the 1980s.

In May 2019, FBI first publicly expressed concern for what they identified as an emerging violent extremist threat. It warned that “anti-government, identity based, and fringe political conspiracy theories” were motivating extremists to commit criminal, sometimes violent, acts.

We included court records from 2 individuals who have been charged. The Department of Justice announced that 15 individuals were charged yesterday. As those cases get unsealed, we will update our page throughout the day. We’ll continue to update the database in the days to come

Exclusive: This morning, FBI arrested Timothy Watson, a purported boogaloo member for selling “portable wall hangers” which can be converted to make a gun automatic. According to docs, he has sold to a number of Boogaloo members including one who shot and killed law enforcement
His website had a number of boogaloo support language, including saying a portion of sales would go to support Duncan Lamp fund, an explanation of that significance is in the criminal complaint footnote.
