Well, you have several important temples here apart from the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlingam. Do not expect too much from the hotels here - they are mostly 2star or max 3 star. Take your own towels and toiletries. (1)

Summarising our recent trip to MP:

Like I said, MP never deserved to be in BIMARU list, it has a glorious history but was neglected by successive governments until Mamaji (BJP) came to the helm. Everywhere you go (atleast in Bhopal) you can see the BJP flag, Bhagwa and (1) Image Ram Mandir flags still flapping in the wind. What' there in Bhopal you ask - plenty of museums - the Janjati Museum is outstanding - if you get a chance do take the 100 rupee photographer access and take pics. One post by someone I follow triggered a series of thoughts. I have great respect for her but I thought I must dispel some misconceptions.
(1/n) Rishis, our shastras do not recommend divorce, yes, but in many cases involving children, esp.if the spouse has a psychopathic character, a legal document becomes necessary.
And to get that document, petitioners go through literal hell.

We've started watching Avrodh S1 which is based on Shiv Aroor & @rahulsinghx 's book India's most fearless. S1 is about Uri and its aftermath.
