SEO @Pickyourtrail, a thread - First the results - ~15x increase in sessions and leads over 3 months.. Sharing some things that I think helped us..
1. Interlinking - getting our products - guides, blogs, other pages to talk to each other 1/n that way google maybe felt we were helping users discover content more easily.. all the blocks that you see below and the blogs were thanks to interlinking. we similarly put in various links across the product

2. new pages for mid-tail keywords - while there is talk on 2/n

Why reels cant be tiktok. My $0.02
1) target audience —> insta has been the fiefdom of “classy folks”. #OTOD, #roomwithaview #frosting kinda junta. Influencers, celebrities, micro-influencers, wanna be influencers - that was insta’s strenght. —>brand paid well to target them 1/n Tittok content was more from “bharath” - bittu dance master who u didnt know of, yes they did have their share of celebrities too —> but content was lot less suvave. It got families to create content, it got friends to do random backchod,it was more timepass than inspiration. 2/n

wanted to share some thoughts on what I learnt from Japan. and to my surprise @Shankar_Srinath and already put this down on our internal learning group, and could not agree more..here it goes 1) Taking pride in the work they do - Right from the person who cleans the train to the person checking your passes, they take a lot of pride in the work they do and do it with a smile. This pushes them to be extremely good at the output they produce.

10 point pitch/Premise on why @PickYourTrail has a solid shot.

1. Increased air connectivity

Goair has launched direct flights from Mumbai to male. Blore to male. Blore to Phuket. We have had more than 50 new international routes from india added in the past 12 months. 2. Domestic fares much greater than international ones. (Mostly true for short haul trips and even some long haul trips)

I did MAa-BOM-maa last month. Same dates MAa-SIN-MAA was cheaper. So was BKK return. Vizag Perth return at 18k. Jaipur Bkk return 6k.
