It's been more than a week since Alhaitham last saw Kaveh immersed in his work, but the more he sees him, the more he notices the architect becoming impatient and distressed.
Kaveh claimed that this commission was important and that they will pay a huge amount of Mora. The time the blond had to spend making alterations multiple times without getting any proper sleep or rest, though...Alhaitham thinks that it's not worth it.

...oh, now I have another thought, if it was Kaveh who was sick, that man surely would act like nothing happened and said that Alhaitham didn't have to worry about him. Even if Kaveh's face was getting paler every time he said he was fine.
"You're sick, Kaveh. You can't even hold your pencil properly."
"It's okay, I'm fine! Just a little bit more and I'm done with my design—"
And the pencil he holds drop into the floor, and the blond doesn't do anything and simply stares at it.

People who knew the Grand Scibe during his Akademiya days may recall that when he was sick, he was a total nightmare to be around.
Not only will he be difficult, such as refusing to take the medications and preferring to sleep it off, but he will also refuse to eat anything, particularly soup, even if he cannot stomach any solid food.
His roommates from Akademiya days even agreed that they can't stand him.
