...the Roomba is apparently really user-servicable??? The screws stay in the backplate, the motor modules are completely removable... I love this???? The motor module itself is far less user servicable dangit. I'm unsure if the issue is that there's cathair in the motor or the motor just went bad but either way there's way too much friction in the motor itself, I just don't see a good way to replace it without breaking this.
