A few ~4 years back I left my job in India and took a few months break.

I had hard time getting job after that coz HRs were hesitant to move forward my CV.

Till I moved to UK, with every switch I have to explain to HR WHY I took that break. HR never liked my answer that I left my job for no family/medical emergency.

So, convincing then was an another task all together.

I wish India could be more open on career breaks
