Book alert 🔥! Thrilled to see that our book "Explaining Local Policy Agendas. Institutions, Problems, Elections, and Actors" is out w @Palgrave. This is the first large-n multi-variate study of the determinants of the policy agenda. A 🧵on the key findings 👇 Using the @policyagendas codebook, we content coded 250,000 agenda items on 10,000 council meetings in the 98 Danish municipalities, 2007-2017. This allows us to study why the policy issues of health or education get neglected by some politicians and over-emphasized by others.
