Earlier this week I was able to contribute to the joint The @royalsociety - @RAEngNews “Hydrogen Delivery Plan” residential workshop at which I put across the aviation outlook. (1/n) 🍃 Image Though near term biogenic SAF is central the only way to deliver ramp up however is through synthetic fuels for which hydrogen is core & I illustrated what this looked like, based on a range of energy transition scenarios, irrespective of what technology outlook is taken.

Looking forward to supporting the @IMechE “Challenges in the Hydrogen Economy 2023” conference held today at White Hart Lane, for @RollsRoyce 🍃 ✈️ ⛴️ Great start this morning on fuel cell vs combustion for land based applications (transport mainly): the opportunities and challenges of fuel cells in terms of durability and cost, and the quest for power density across the board (and certainly for flight).
