I feel like the biggest misunderstanding about Reo’s character is that he doesn’t understand Blue Lock or is naturally not able / doesn’t want to adapt to that environment. It’s just not true. A chameleon is a perfect metaphor for adaptability. That’s not where the problem is
His novel shows us that he’s a “natural-born emperor”, who isn’t the one to “have a flimsy train of thought”. He faces misfortunes and immediately comes up with rational decisions. The plan to get where he is now in terms of skills was made by Reo alone.
