Back from 3 days visit of Kashmir (10th to 12th Oct). Other than Srinagar, I traveled to dist Baramulla too.

This is thread of my personal observations & interactions. There were lot of hearsay too, but would avoid posting unverified things. Private Vehicles : The roads were full of more than normal (normal - my earlier visits before 5th Aug) traffic of private vehicles. I got stuck in traffic jams at multiple places, including Bemina, Batmaloo, near Polo park (street market), Dal Gate, Srinagar By-pass.

Back from 2 days Srinagar visit. Went Wednesday early morning. Came back last night. Sharing ground reality (NOT just what is being reported on national media)

THREAD. 👇 AIRPORT : As normal as it always was. Come out, Taxi available on pre-paid booth, but ONLY for Srinagar.

Outstation guys are told to go to TRC, to get outstation cabs. (I visited TRC twice, didn't find ANY outstation cab).

Entry to airport also same as earlier.

Small thread: Modi's ratings were falling. Surveys were showing <200 seats. Pulwama happened. Modi continued his photoshoot in Corbett. He didn't visit single martyr's family. Kept doing political speeches from govt platforms. (Remember elections were not announced till then). Balakote happened. Modi went straight to Rajasthan for a rally, with Pulwama martyrs' photos behind him. He didn't address nation, like Imran Khan did.
