A note on @JoeBiden and his compassion, forgive me for a long thread here.

In late July 2019, my aunt was diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma of the Lung. By the time she knew something was wrong and sought medical care, it had spread, and was terminal. It broke our hearts. She was the family matriarch, and had been a role model for compassion, resilience, and knowledge.
She opted to begin treatment, in part to buy more time, and to at least say she put up a valiant fight.
The treatments made her so sick.
