Curiously there weren't that many breaks in the charts last week. And why the heck is IGV still well above the August low when everyone thinks it's expensive up here?

Most charts are still trapped between support & resistance but as the weeks go on we find ourselves getting to the apex of the triangles (don't @ me, I know they are not proper triangles).
The 'best' breakouts are 2/3-3/4 into the apex. DJIA

One point I want to make about all those mega cap tech charts with steep uptrend lines I've been showing: steep lines are hard to maintain so they often get broken. It's what happens on the subsequent rally that counts (lower high?) DJIA with its 10 straight green days.

Last week we looked at support so naturally this week we're looking at resistance. DJIA. I drew in the potential h/s bottom a few weeks ago and it's still there. The bulls will like this except that they hate the DJIA.

The big cap indexes did a lot of churning around this week (see last week's charts) at resistance. The smalls ran & then they too met resistance.
Yet this was the week everyone got bullish! DJIA

Good Morning newly minted bulls! AAII Bulls +15 to 44.5%, highest since 11/10/21 when there were 48
Bears -12 to 24.3%, lowest since 11/10/21
