UPDATE ON THE STANDARDS FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION:
This week HMHAB attended a meeting arranged by the Disability Advocate with the Assistant Deputy Minister of Education to discuss upcoming changes to what will soon be known as the Standards for an Inclusive Education System./1
During our meeting we highlighted the concerns of our community regarding the need for a rock solid document that families of disabled children could use as an advocacy tool at a school and school board level. /2
