Huge news: after 1.5 years of private beta, thousands of testers, and a looot of incredible work by the team...

@ReadwiseReader is finally in public beta!

Save everything to one place, highlight like a pro, and replace several apps with one.

readwise.io/read @ReadwiseReader Reader does A LOT, but before I get into features, here's its main benefit:

Get all your content into one place.

From articles to Twitter threads to PDFs to newsletters to RSS to epubs to... even YouTube!

🙅‍♂️ "Fiction vs. Nonfiction"

these terms are a relic of the archaic book publishing industry, but still the main way people categorize their reading!

💁‍♂️ "reading for entertainment" vs "reading for betterment".

At @readwiseio we use the above instead. Why? @readwiseio 1️⃣ nonfiction vs fiction is super binary and low information content.

What about a sci-fi book you take away a whole worldview from?

What about a biography you read for its ups and downs?

What about articles, blogs, tweets? How can they be categorized as one or the other?

Okay. Some @readwiseio news — the biggest since we started the company.

We built our own reading app!

Save anything, from articles to PDFs. Then read (with powerful highlighting, search, and triage) inside of the Readwise Reader.

readwise.io/read @readwiseio There's much much more to it, but 2 quick notes:

* Reader is in closed beta right now, but we're moving rapidly towards making it public

* This product is _real_: Reader has been working for power readers like @packyM and @EricJorgenson on iOS, Android, and desktop web 👇

Almost all problems in startups are simpler, but harder than you think. Competition? Just ignore them. The solution is to literally do nothing. Is it easy? Hell no.
