And to absolutely nobody's surprise, they came for us next and started banning horror games from Steam and itch. For those of you who are asking: As you may know, itch and Steam were forced to remove or shadowban a bunch of games recently. Mainly pornographic games.

But that was clearly only the beginning and I was expecting it to hit horror next. And it did.

Twin Peaks: Into the Night

It's a PSX-style fan game adaptation of the classic series created by Mark Frost and David Lynch.

I had a chance to try out a small portion of the demo that's gonna be released on August 15.

Abandonware: The Horror Collection is, quite literally, a collection of mini lo-fi horror games found in an internal 3.5" Hard Drive with a sinister catch.

As you play through its contents, things start to warp and shift around blurring the line between fiction and reality. The game, on a narrative level, is about this unknown hard drive with its own operating system with nothing but horror games in it. The games mysteriously change and play with you instead, altering after every cycle.

So, how does the character-change mechanic work?

Short thread: First of all, the game won't allow you to change characters anytime you want like how you do in GTA V.

You will be able to do this in specific locations called Break Rooms. It is exactly what you could imagine. It's gonna have a coffee thermos as a save function too.
