I tried using #ChatGPT to help with a real-world research project. It started off impressing the hell out of me, but it quickly turned into a farce. 🧵 I started with the following prompt: "What is the economic cost of heavy vehicle congestion on the South Eastern Freeway, South Australia?". ChatGPT gave me a generic description of the problem, with no specifics. But still, it sure wasn't wrong. So far, so good.
