#GujaratElections2022
Traveled for a month across Gujarat, went up till last villages before the borders. I did stories ranging from rural belts on caste, minorities to education & unemployment. #Gujarat helped me bring to u what's invisible for TV media
A thread of all stories+ In the city of Ahmedabad, even today, Section 144 is always applicable, and has prevented the activists from protesting.
The police has often quoted laws in the Court, text for which is still not accessible to the Courts.

The stories of Muslims in #Karauli need to be told.
Today, I along with @Samriddhi0809 was in the violence inflicted area the entire day. We met families from both the communities. But the pain that the Muslims have incurred is beyond what one could imagine. 1 Somebody claims to have lost stock of 5lac Rupees and someone says that they lost over 35lacs.
Someone's 18-year-old son was assaulted by police and someone could not stop crying since they have never seen a time like this before. 2

The results to the pan-India must be that BJP has done a lot of work in the State. However, the reality remains restricted in the minds of the locals there. (1/5) As per the conversations that I have had with locals from Agartala, Belonia and Dharamanagar, ambience of fear prevailed from at least 2 nights prior to the polls. Threats were being given to locals that they shouldn't go for voting else the result won't be good for them.(2/5)
