Greek IMF programme: A thread from a layman's POV.

1/ Greece got the biggest IMF programme in history back in 2010, first programme itself providing about 100B USD. They got probably the biggest debt haircut in history as well. 2/ Greek IMF programme was mainly based on strict austerity measures and serious structural reforms. The austerity measures included public sector layoffs, wage cuts, tax reforms, pension cuts, and spending cuts.
