this is an INCREDIBLY LOOSE baby driver au but: wwx is a getaway driver for a nasty group of thieves headed by wen ruohan & sons. for [angsty self-sacrificing backstory reasons] wwx isn’t doing this by choice, but he uses his position to try to minimize damage/hurt to bystanders.

accidentally shampooed my hair twice because i was thinking about a wangxian au based on that one diner scene in baby driver in my version wwx is the reluctant getaway driver and lwj is the weeknight employee at the music shop where wwx spends time, and one night the thieves show up at the shop and wwx has to pretend not to know lwj for lwj’s safety. (except lwj totally clocks that something’s up.)

vampire!wwx threadfic! in which vampires exist in a modern cultivation au, lwj is investigating a string of strange deaths, and wwx is a vampire he can’t seem to kill.

can confirm: TRRTY nie huaisang is a dragon. his dragon form is dark green. there isn’t a lot of water near home so he spends a lot of time traveling (his job helps w that). when he is home it always mysteriously starts raining any time he’s supposed to be teaching forms outside.

okay, i have a little thread set in This River Runs to You canon! it’s mostly me being sad about pre-TRRTY timeline wei wuxian, before he met lan wangji. (heads up if you haven’t read TRRTY on ao3 and want to avoid spoilers! also cw for short-term housing instability, brief mentions of surgery and hunger.)

my kingdom for a modern au romcom-esque misunderstanding where lan xichen meets his little brother’s new friend and lxc can immediately tell that lwj has a crush—but lxc thinks wwx is just messing around with lwj’s feelings, and he decides to step in modern university au! lwj and wwx meet attending university overseas at some vaguely new england school. first semester they're paired together as lab partners for an astronomy class, which isn't either of their major but they're filling a GED requirement
