I have another thought on that MRSM thingy.

My younger brother got into MRSM Pasir Salak for Form 1 but dropped out the next year ‘cause my parents just couldn’t afford it.

It was costly for them. Uniform je dah berapa jenis, kos-kos lain lagi. If MRSM truly exist to help B40 kids, kenapa ‘roh’ dia tak macam B40 langsung?

The real B40 kids pakai kasut sekolah yang sama for classes, sports, outing, you-name-it.

Full uniform paling mewah pun 2 pasang je sepanjang tahun.

The most toxic boss I had (so far), sent her eldest daughter to MRSM somewhere in Johor. Her T20 daughter once complained that she’s shocked her classmates don’t know anything about Harry Potter. Also frustrated ‘cause most of them couldn’t converse in English

I was appalled so I said, ‘Memang MRSM untuk anak-anak B40 yang cemerlang pun kan? They wouldn’t have much exposure to Harry Potter’

I think she was taken aback so trying to rationalise that some MRSM need T20 & M40 students for donations & contributions to upkeep the classrooms
