a rare serious post — i keep seeing people say that it's okay for russia to lose this many tanks because of all the tanks russia has in reserve

short version: this is, in fact, bad few things come to mind abt this cope:

tanks in reserve are not a priority for maintenance and they are attractive as a source of (expensive) parts to be used in active tank units. add also problem of corruption/theft in russia

manpower — these tanks are useless w/o operators
