Have you ever wondered if there's any significance in the design of a Custard Cream biscuit?

A biscuity thread... Popped into the @ChelsPhysicGdn the other day - where they have a cold glasshouse for growing ferns. These became very popular in the UK in the mid-1800s when Thomas Moore was the curator of the Chelsea Physic Garden and he wrote books about the plants.
