Because I happened to date a former politican who was involved in some scandals, I’m now being blamed. I haven’t been involved with him for three years. When will you stop holding women accountable for men’s actions? It has nothing to do with me. You don’t know shit so STFU! also if you are playing moral police while coddling up with North Koreans ambassadors, you should be ashamed. You’re trying to score political points by walking over women you know nothing about – invading my integrity and safety while claiming to be feminist is shameful

Is he having an existential crisis over the fact that she played poker exactly the way it’s supposed to be played, and outplayed him at that? She read his tells, called his bluff and even gave back the chips after him throwing a tantrum. Even the commentary was misogynistic. If poker players start demanding a full scale investigation after somewhat unreasonable hands live poker is going to be ruined very fast. The freedom of playing the game the way you want to is at stake here.

I keep seeing the kind of arguments like “we can rehabilitate rapists and murderers” but that same person doesn’t think someone who said something bad in their teenage years are capable of change I cant comprehend how some people genuinely believe rapists can be rehabilitated and reintegrated as functioning members of society. Rearrange the justice system but keep people who belong in hell in there.

I posted photos of myself in my last apartment with a little more background than this. I was DMd by a man who had sneaked past the concierge and saw me with my then-boyfriend. He had geolocated me to the exact building. He sent me a message: “you’re prettier in real life” He stood in the elevator with us. What if my ex boyfriend hadn’t been there?

This is such a incredibly moronic argument. A man literally flew across from the world to find me and located my parents. It’s not a bad thing to make people aware or privacy concerns. When I was more naive, I used to post at which bar I was at. Guys tracked me down. Just because it hasn’t happened to you personally doesn’t mean it’s not a valid fear women have.

Have you ever had an ex that keeps coming back to you despite you setting boundaries? just please leave me the fuck alone. This individual traumatised me beyond words. I had to sever all bonds to stay sane.

I can’t recommend the series Caliphate enough when you talk about Shamima Begum. Grooming is a complex process that happens where there is fertile ground for it. Also when talking on how she was groomed, do not forget that she was the one grooming others to join ISIS. But. Shamima should face her punishment in the U.K. because at the time she’s was a U.K. citizen travelling to Syria. Why should the people she terrorised be responsible for her? Britain can take its own responsibility and do the right thing here.

I had booked a vacation with a hotel, straight before the pandemic hit. All the countries shut their borders, airplanes wouldn’t fly, insurance wouldn’t cover and not to mention the *moral* aspect of not travelling. I emailed them and they said they couldn’t refund me which was fine. I asked them if we could save it for a later time. They said it’s fine. I gave some proposals but right before the dates, borders were shut again, Spain was in a crisis etc

My mother went into labour when grenades and bombs were falling like rain over the hospital. Endlessly falling.. The air was heavy, the village was engulfed in flames, sending thick black air into the sky. When she finally made it to the hospital, she became severely ill But she persisted, despite her body being seconds away from falling apart. Around her, in a larger circle of pain and time, lives were taken away and just outside – one big graveyard. Our salvation was her strength.

We've seen, time and again, how online stalking and harassment leads to violence or murder. Threats to women’s online privacy and digital security prevent women’s access to information/help— as many who experience harassment are driven to self-censor, or they are driven offline. Online harassment and violence such as revenge porn, cyber stalking, identity theft, doxxing and other forms of cyber harassment against women leads to obvious violations of women’s right of bodily integrity, freedom of expression, privacy and right to personal data protection.

TO ALL WOMEN:

Have you experienced online harassment or online stalking? If you have, can you share your experience and what help was available to you? More importantly, has it stopped? I’d be thankful if you could RT this.

people, I’d love to know what your biggest lessons and regrets from your twenties are? mine:
learn how to say no and don't do things that make you uncomfortable. set boundaries
mental health is important, nourish it.
the things I worry about won't matter in a year or even a month.
not all friendships/relationships are for life.
don't stay in unhappy relationships

Dad, I’m about the same age as you when you left a war-torn Bosnia on a night filled with sirens and bombs with me, hidden in the back of a truck. You left mom and my two sisters behind. I was very ill. You both agreed that the chance of survival was greater if we all separated. For two days until we reached the border you thought of only one thing: the survival of your family. When you reached the border with me on the third day, they pulled you out, tortured and humiliated you. They pointed a gun at us both. How can I ever truly understand what you-

I’m tired of seeing this recycled argument. Implying that poor people shouldn’t have children because they’ve been disadvantaged by a system that offers them no support is eugenics adjacent. it rests on an assumption that poverty is intrinsic and it drives a refusal to provide material aid to children in poverty. You think you shouldn’t help pay for a child to eat because you think his mother should have known not to have him.

Insightful yet occasionally farcical profile into the painful gender dynamics within the alt-right, and the most complete, damning portrait of how morally bankrupt Lauren Southern really is. theatlantic.com/politics/archi… Some highlights include her white supremacist boyfriend refusing to eat ketchup. “He won’t eat any non-European sourced food - including ketchup”

I can’t stop thinking about this. Something is very rotten in France. How frivolous and meaningless do we value human life that we can dispose of it so easily? Over a caricature?
