I'll be frank, Twitter troupe hate posts feel extremely juvenile to me. You never know if OP is talking about a kids show in which basic troupes are used to get the plot going or only one specific show/movie that does a troupe poorly. The example OP gave is common as a romance/comedy troupe. You've seen it in anime or Otome games. No one complains because the execution IS what matters! When you isolate troupes, you miss the point. You don't hate the troupe, you dislike that particular execution. It's fine!

Nevermind, it appears that with Clip Studio Paint, even if you have the perpetual 2.0 license, you can still be LOCKED OUT OF BEING ABLE TO USE THE APP.
This is on desktop by the way. You aren't safe. Image I do not have the sub model. I have the base license that I was forced to get because my computer died.
Screw this. I'm getting an older version of CSP V1 to avoid this nonsense. Absolutely insane.

Can confirm for most of these. Any hashtags (non-trending), links, or @/s in your MAIN POST will immediately de-boost your tweet. A couple mutuals of mine tested it out and it's amazing how much LESS engagement you get from doing so. There are some ways around this though: ▶DO NOT use hashtags UNLESS it is trending. Why? It's because Twitter has it so that ordinary words can be searched normally. It's the reason why you don't need to tag a character's name as a hashtag anymore. You can easily look it up via the search bar now. It WILL appear.

CLIP STUDIO PAINT TIMELAPSE FEATURES: Tricks & Tips!
I tested out a few things for confirmation and I wanted to share what I know just in case people didn't. Make sure to have updated to the latest version, Ver.1.10.5 or this won't work. 1. The most important feature to know is that you can record from the moment you create your canvas!
Go to File-->New-->Record Timelapse! It's always located at the bottom left of this window. Make sure to check it before you start!

Guess I should give my take on this situation. Something to keep in mind is that we don't have other messages beyond these for more context, so I don't know what else this person might've said to lead to this point. Therefore, I'll only comment on what's shown here. I think there's a schism between how younger and older people view art. A lot of teachers are probably seeing new artists becoming invested in newer technology rather quickly. While many are supportive, some obviously are not. Though I won't call this a black or white issue.

I think more people could benefit from learning how to contact artists from a business perspective. I'm not referring to normal DMs asking questions. I'm talking about writing a professional email. Some of the stories I could tell lol (THREAD + TIPS⬇) I understand that the internet isn't real life, but a reflection of what we want others to perceive. At the same time, I always wonder how people can be so inept at contacting others in a professional manner. Nothing pompous, mind you, just writing a basic email with your needs.

Mini discussion: I'm always surprised when my works do relatively well depending on the platform. I keep my expectations generally low so it's a nice surprise. At the same time I have noticed a pattern with works that tend to do very well on twitter: composition. Composition could mean anything regarding the layout of your work really, but in this case I would consider it formatting, how your subject (character) is set within the frame, and what you want to show. What's the main idea you want to get across with your audience?

Magical Girl Site got brought up as an example of a good darker magical girl anime from my last thread. Honestly, I respectively disagree, mostly because I found the manga to be somewhat better and the anime adaptation really sensationalized. Granted, this is less from a writing standpoint and more from a directional one, but I'm not a fan of how certain infamous scenes are directed. In the manga, they are horrifying, but the anime just seems to really ham it up or just go completely overboard with the tone.

In today's thread, I'll be discussing Sleepless Domain created by Mary Cagle! It's another magical girl comic with some fantastical elements and a great character driven story to boot!~ Though I do have some reservations I want to discuss about it's overall direction. Thread⬇ This will have minor spoilers so keep that in mind when I continue onwards. These happen early on which is why I'm not giving a huge spoiler warning, but in case you wanted to read it before this point, at least do chapter 1 and 2 before reading more.

Today we will be discussing Princess Love Pon created by Shauna J Grant! A cute webcomic that offers a surprising amount of charm, effort, and most of all, keeping the spirit of being a magical girl. How well does it do that task, let's dive into this thread!⬇ (Spoilers) Background: I stumbled upon this comic completely by accident years ago when I was still on Tumblr. I saw the promotion for this comic and figured it would be a fun read. Please keep in mind that Tumblr is a...weird website to say least. Things tend to be hit or miss.

Here's a video about the most popular Precure Season! Keep in mind this uses google searches and understand that sequel seasons usually don't do as well (DISCUSSION)⬇
My thoughts are that it's hard to get a grasp on pretty cure seasons as they're mostly based on toy sales and viewership (they got to make money somehow). As a result, while a season can be good, it's popularity does not necessarily equate in sales. Keep that in mind.

While it's fine to voice your insecurities, I also think similar to this comic. The healthier mindset is to take what other artists achieve in stride. Other people's successes don't negate your own. You shouldn't compare someone else's final destination to your journey. The reason why I don't fret about younger artists achieving more than I could is because I want a better future for younger artists. Back in the 2000's, you were lucky to find a decent tutorial in an artbook for your specific tastes.

Meme aside, I've seen people fret about the idea of progressing in such little time, but it honestly depends on what YOUR idea of time is. To some people 2 years is A LOT of time, while for others it's can seem like nothing. Artistic progress is exponential rather than linear. Many things can happen within a span of a year, month, weeks, or even days. A life-changing event can occur leaving you with more personal time. It can also have the opposite effect as well. You have less time to work on your art so you don't have as much time to spend.
