1/ As 2023 wraps up, we're stepping into 2024 with fresh hopes and curiosity about what's next.

Let's explore the main areas I expect to capture our attention in the upcoming year.

Keep an eye on these areas with me as we move into the new year! Image 2/ Bitcoin Halving 2024

The next Bitcoin halving is around the corner, and it's a big deal.

It means the reward for validating new blocks is further reduced. In the past, the halvings often led to price surges. Will it happen again, or is there a surprise waiting?

I honestly have ZERO expectations (I mean up only would be nice 🤣) but I'll watch and see what happens next in #Bitcoin's journey!Image

1/ Solidly was one of the hottest DeFi protocols to come out in 2022 and created by @AndreCronjeTech.

It had a rocky start when Andre announced he was stepping away entirely from the industry. 2/ The Solidly model introduced mechanisms that created an interesting approach for solving protocol liquidity.

This has given rise to Solidly forks such as @Equalizer0x on @FantomFDN, @SatinExchange on @0xPolygon, @ThenaFi_ on @BNBCHAIN and @VelodromeFi on @optimismFND

1/8 One question that I have had to answer quite regularly how is $Celr different compared to $Matic.

Well for one they've both taken very different approaches with @0xPolygon focused on plasma sidechains while @CelerNetwork developed from a State Channels approach. 2/8 An interesting point to note is that Celer and Polygon are actually partners with a successful integration of the Celer state channel and Matic testnet sidechain taking place during a @ETHNewYork event.
