₹ 1,50,000 CRORES LOST

All due to mis-selling of life insurance policies

Here are 5 golden rules to follow while selecting your term insurance plan (bookmark for later)

A Complete Thread ..

(1/7) 1) 3-year Average Claim Settlement Ratio (CSR)

CSR is no. of claims an insurer settles in every 100 claim requests.

Some people look at one year’s CSR & take a call.

But, you need to see a 3-yr average to know if the company is consistent.

Anything above 96% is good.

BIGGEST MISTAKE THAT EMPLOYEES MAKE :-

Not getting an individual plan just because they already have corporate health insurance.

Why ??👇

A Thread ...

(1/7) Most corporate plans aren't comprehensive.

They’re pretty generic & don’t cover your specific needs. Often these plans impose restrictions on room rent etc. In fact, they might not even cover expenses like needles, syringes & sterilized injections etc.

I’m talking about ‘Zero-cost’ term plans.

A few insurers give you an option to get back ALL your premiums if you end your plan BEFORE its maturity (for a specified period)

PS this isn’t the same as term plan w Return of Premiums (TROPs) that returns money AFTER maturity.

A few days ago, got the news that Snapdeal has filed DRHP. While many seemed astonished, I was just curious. So I researched & was pleasantly surprised to know lot of things about Snapdeal.

Here's a Complete Thread about my findings : Let's get the first thing out of the way, Snapdeal is not only existing, they have grown at approx 35% Q-on-Q in 2021 & have had 5Cr shoppers since 2019 from which ₹4.2 Cr were from non-metro cities. No wonder my urban friends are clueless as Snapdeal is mainly of/for/by Bharat.
