Qualitative research rarely seeks to produce *generalizable* findings but instead constructs data *transferable* to other contexts.

Thus, a lack of generalizability is not a *limitation* but a *feature* of qualitative research AKA stop saying this in limitation sections. The reader determines transferability through many dimensions, including but not limited to (1) a thorough description of a research site or sites, (2) including thick, rich description in the write-up, and (3) other trustworthiness techniques.

Okay, I am out ✌️

Dr. Noelle Arnold welcoming us to this third installment of the #OSUDearWhitePeople series. Today's panelists are @DrAjWelton, @cheryl_phd, & Frank Tuitt and will discuss "Can you also be antiracist in educational spaces?" An anti-racist standpoint involves an understanding of the history, pervasiveness, and endemic nature of racism in higher education and a deliberate rejection of color-evasive standpoints // Frank Tuitt #OSUDearWhitePeople
