This paper has been in the making for years now. Basically, since I finished my PhD, I've been trying to think of the way of the psychological literature as a kind of a weird institution. It has its rules of engagement, people who participate in it, maintaing and build it.
And with the crisis of confidence and the reformers' critiques, parts of the institution are being dismantled. So I tried to write that up into a paper. There's still a lot of work to be done on that, since this was just my first stab at it.
