Tuning in to Metro Council meeting tonight which is packed with the people's biz. Updates will come.

Featured on the evening's agenda is a vote of no-confidence in @louisvillemayor and a ban on LGBTQ/Gender ID conversion therapy. Also Councilman @CMPiagentini seeks to send $10K of his neighborhood development funds to Middletown PD for the purchase of "safety equipment" .... which includes riot shields, pepper ball guns, and pepper spray.

A LouMetro Council committee questioned the head of the city's Landbank Authority yesterday about properties sold by the agency - who their sold to and what becomes of them. kycir.org/2018/10/17/lou… Some council members are concerned that too many properties get sold to investors or rental property managers - which they worry will undercut neighborhood stability.
