India is going backwards. the few universities we have have been made into IT coolie farms, and reservations are destroying anything that may remain. Combined with widespread functional illiteracy and low primary and secondary education we are so cooked I think the reason we don't have thorium reactors, fighter jets, proper ICBMs, nukes, or lead the world in really anything is we simply do not foster that talent. We treat our future like trash to appeal actual human trash
