On #AirForceDay , I recall a film that left a long lasting impact on me. Mind you, the film was sans the usual glamour attached with any film based on defence.

Directed by the brilliant Govind Bijlani and produced by Mr. Shashi Kapoor, who I consider one of the finest Ever film producer in Bollywood. Almost every film of his was a class. I use the wird Almost because Shashi Kapoor also produced the forgettable Ajooba (a nice take on Arabian nights).

Happy birthday to one of the doyens of the film music.

A lady who had it her way and gave us some gems.

This remains one of my all time favourites.

Anecdote:
Madhuban jhushboo deta hai remains Usha Ji's all time hit. Yesudas ji sang it and how.

On d day of recording, it was raining cats and dogs. Ppl, at studio, thought Yesudas ji won't make it.

Today is death anniversary of one of the greatest music directors. A bright shibibg star if Bollywood classic era. The Madan Mohan Ji.

And

Also of one of the finest musician. The man who was part of magic. Simply magical work. A legend in his own rights.
Manohari Singh ji 🙏 Now Manohari Singh ji was quintessentially a part of Burmans. Initially SD and of course later with Pancham Da.

But he also worked for Salil Da, LP and Madan Ji.

And if I am not wrong (@Shrimaan sir will correct me) , he was part of this iconic song.
