I referred a few amazing freshers to Intuit last week. I knew each one of them for a few years and have seen them do amazing things at college via their social media updates.

While referring, I noticed one common thing in all of them. Their resues were perfect. I could actually feel the amount of thoughtful effort they had put into their resumes.

No trivial mistakes.

It was a crisp one-pager filled with exceptional proof of work like internships, competitive programming credentials, projects, open source contributions, etc.

In the initial few years of my career, I used to commute daily from Delhi to Gurgaon. The to-and-fro trip used to take anywhere between 3-4 hours every day

People used to tell me, isn't it too long a travel to do every day?

I used to shrug them off saying it's okay for me
