I sent another question in to @IndependentSage which was read out by @martinmckee on their 18th November, 2022 briefing (49.55 minutes in).

This was my question:
1/7independentsage.org/briefing/regul… ā€œI’ve read that unvaccinated children - which presumably refers to most kids age 11 and under in the UK - are being used as an ā€˜immunity reservoir’.
In simple terms can you please explain what ā€˜children being used as an immunity reservoir’ means? ...

My mother always told me ā€œThe truth will outā€
but I really didn’t expect it to take this long.

In June 2021, my husband & I went on a short UK break with a couple of our friends.
From watching @IndependentSage weekly briefings I’d already learned that #CovidIsAirborne ...

… and I'd learned that having good #ventilation helps mitigate airborne transmission.

My friend found a pub advertising tables outside in an open courtyard, but when we arrived we found they’d enclosed the space both above and on all four sides.

Dear @yokoono

My husband asked me what I hope to achieve by writing this.

What I hope is that in the end, (to quote William Shakespeare): ā€œThe Truth Will Outā€.

And, I’m hoping for you to help me find out the #truth about the recent pandemic named COVID-19 Since March 2020 I have followed events closely, because at the beginning of the pandemic I was caring for my 94 yo clinically extremely vulnerable father.
&, the top and bottom of it was, I didn’t want to contract a virus that I might then transmit to him and him die from Covid.

@annesmithmcc Reading this email, the following sentence stuck in my craw:
ā€œWe would urge caution against drawing conclusions from social media discussions about transmission routes, and to instead rely on accepted global scientific evidence from the WHO, ... Image "...the UK Health Security Agency & other authoritative sourcesā€
Was Andrew Gwynne implying the public wasn’t capable of understanding the science? or maybe he was referring to disinformation being spread online ? (Shouldn’t governments have tackled online disinformation by now)?

I've been having a look at how the UK government planned for us to 'Live with Covid'

And, I have questions:
Is Covid-19 endemic?
Is it still believed that COVID-19 is likely to become a "predominantly winter seasonal illness"?
How is government "encouraging safer behaviours through public health advice"?
If "Vaccines underpin all of these principles" ... Image

(1/12) I’ve just reread this article from 17 April 2020 and I have a few questions.
The article states:
ā€œthe Government’s (then) @uksciencechief Sir Patrick Vallance said: ā€œā€¦ We think this virus is likely to be one that comes year on year, becomes ...bylinetimes.com/2020/04/17/the… (2/12) ... like a seasonal virus. Communities will become immune."
Four and a half years after this article was written, & with the benefit of hindsight, has Sir Patrick Vallance ever publicly stated that he made the wrong call?
The only way Covid-19 can be referred to as ...
