So why the difference and why are they unprepared for this task?

I decided to look at the top 100 housing markets in the country in a multi-dimensional space using hundreds of housing stats from @ParclLabs data.

The machines found some very interesting patterns.

Let's dig in. Why did I do this? Because housing is substantially more complex than can be interpreted in excel or a line graph.

So what did I do? I aggregated 100's of indicators about housing markets and put the machines to work.
