The first two are by Robert Cialdini, Influence and Pre-suasion, and they teach you about how easily brains can be influenced to make decisions that are not based on logic.

1. When leaving the house, in the summer, Scott uses the number 5 as a mnemonic device, and when we walks toward his exit, he thinks "Five."
Each number represents an item: phone, key fob, hat, sunscreen, and headphones. He also keeps these items by his door to minimize trips. In winter, adjust the number because not all items are needed.
The trick is to repeat this process until it becomes second nature, leveraging the power of repetition to ensure nothing is forgotten.
